An installation was devised to draw attention and use to an underutilized recycling nook in the Parsons University Center’s Lower Level Café. By staging hanging, high-contrast panels in such a way that they revealed more light on approach, we invited participants to receive and engage the nook while creating colorful combinations of light. Colors were selected to complement the space’s existing permanent installations.
