An environment study of an East Village laundromat led to a scientific analysis of air flow and convection within facilities for washing, drying and folding clothes.
In the existing environment, negative pressure created zones of trapped, dead air. A proposed solution design optimized air flow for health, cleanliness and comfort; all while providing playful feedback of the mechanisms at play.
